This portrait is of a cat named Abu from the Upper Credit Humane Society. Abu is looking to be adopted. I created a portrait of Abu to raise awareness for all animals needing a forever home. I used pastel on illustration board with a gouache painting back ground. My first Fundraiser for my non-profit organization'Focus on Fundraising' was a bake sale to raise money for this cause. I used the Humane Society colour for the background and  used a real cat to give meaning behind the artwork.
